NEW HAVEN, CT -- It wasn't quite business as usual for the Yale men's hockey team on Thursday afternoon.

A campus power outage around noon shut down Ingalls Rink, leaving the Bulldogs scrambling to find a new place to practice. Hasty arrangements were made for the team to bus up to the Northford Ice Pavilion.

But at 3:45 p.m., as Yale waited in the darkened arena lobby with packed equipment bags, the lights flickered back on at Ingalls. Power was restored. The bus was canceled. Practice went off without a hitch, though about 15 minutes later than planned.
