SHELTON - His teammates gave Jeff Dwyer a little grief when he was stopped after practice for an interview. "Local boy," Scott Ford shouted.
Dwyer will get a chance at a little home cooking for a while. He joined the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Thursday for their first practice after the all-star break.
"I got in (Wednesday) night at 2 a.m.," said Dwyer, 27, who grew
up in New Canaan. "I'll shoot down (Thursday) and see my parents,
my sister, my nieces. They haven't had a chance to see me play in a
long time."
