Union Ready for Inaugural Appearance
The following article appeared in the March 25 issue of the Troy Record.
SCHENECTADY — The Union College Dutchmen have no problem
with wearing the ‘New Kid on the Block’ tag.
The three other teams in the NCAA Hockey Tournament’s East
Region had better not treat the Dutchmen like they’re some
naive johnny-com e-latelys who can be pushed around. That would be
a mistake.
Today, Union makes it’s first NCAA Division I tournament
appearance, taking on the East Region’s No. 3 seed
Minnesota-Duluth at Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard.
