Arizona Waives Delforte
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro announced the team has waived former Union forward Torren Delforte.
Delforte, 24, appeared in only four games this season after suffering an injury in a 2-1 loss to the Fort Wayne Komets on October 23 that sidelined him for 44 games. The Shortsville, New York, native collected one goal and a plus-2 rating before being placed on injured reserve.
The 5-foot-11, 183-pound forward tallied 18 goals and 23 assists in 51 games with the Sundogs last season.
