Bowles Remains with Cottonmouths
The Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) have signed former Union forward Sam Bowles for the 2011-12 season.
Bowles, 26, returns to Columbus for his fourth season as a Cottonmouth. Sam came to Columbus in 2008 after 19 games with the New Mexico Scorpions of the Central Hockey League. In 141 games, Bowles has collected 146 points over three seasons. He has finished 3rd, 4th and 2nd on the Snakes roster in points the last three seasons, respectively.
