Union Heavy Favorite, but Faces Dangerous Opponent
SCHENECTADY — Union College made its first trip to the
ECAC Hockey semifinals last year and it was a successful one, as
the Dutchmen reached the league championship game with a 3-1
victory over St. Lawrence — before losing to Cornell,
3-0.
Now, they’d like to go back again and perhaps win that title
game. All that’s standing in their way of a return trip to
the semifinals is — last-place Colgate.
Now, the Raiders are not your typical last-place team.
