Union Announces New Radio Show
SCHENECTADY, NY – Union College Athletics, in conjunction with Anastos Media and Bombers Burrito Bar in Schenectady, is announcing the debut of a new weekly radio show. The half hour show is entitled “Union College Hockey Coach's Corner LIVE from Bombers” and will debut on Tuesday, January 18 at 6 p.m.
Each Tuesday, from January 18 through March 22, Union College head men's ice hockey coach Nate Leaman will be joined by the “Voice of Union Hockey,” Matt Dubrey, for a talk show format that will be broadcast live from Bombers Burrito Bar, 447 State St. in Schenectady.
Fans in attendance will be eligible for live raffle drawings and discounts. A special grand prize will be announced at the final show, and fans who come to the most shows during the 10 week run will be eligible for the drawing.
The program will be broadcast live on the Union Hockey Network, WABY-AM 1160 and WVKZ-AM 1240. WABY and WVKZ broadcast all Union men's ice hockey games during the 2010-11 season.
