Presizniuk Released from Tryout Agreement

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Providence Bruins, in their 20th season in the American Hockey League, today announced that they have released former Union forward Adam Presizniuk from his tryout agreement.

A native of Calgary, AB, Presizniuk went scoreless in two games for Providence since being signed to a Professional Tryout Agreement on November 23. The 25 year-old made his professional debut with the Trenton Titans (ECHL) on October 14. In 15 games with the Titans this season, the forward has recorded three goals and seven assists for 10 points, and two penalty minutes.

Presizniuk is a four-year product of Union. As an assistant captain in 2010-11, Presizniuk recorded 12 goals and 21 assists for 33 points. The 6'0", 180 lb. forward led the Dutchmen in scoring as a sophomore with a career-high 16 goals and 38 points. Union's most valuable player in 2008-09, his 38 points set a school record and he became only the third Dutchmen in Division I history to lead the team in points, goals and assists in the same season. The 24-year-old finished his collegiate career with 131 points on 48 goals and 83 assists.
