To most Americans, “The Simpsons” evokes images
of big-eyed, yellow-skinned cartoon characters.
But that association is changing for hockey fans in Schenectady,
N.Y., where brothers John and Wayne Simpson of Boxborough, Mass.,
have been integral components of Union’s most successful
season in a decade.
With the former Lawrence Academy teammates sharing the ice again
at Messa Rink, the Dutchmen posted only the second undefeated
November in program history, sweeping the North Country for the
first time since 2002-03 in the process.
