Mayotte Promoted to AHL

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that former Union goaltender Kris Mayotte has been recalled from the Johnstown Chiefs.

Mayotte, 27, comes to the Phantoms from the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL where he was 8-13-5 with a 3.84 goals-against average and a 0.892 save percentage in 28 games this season. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native played four years of college hockey for Union College in Schenectady, New York and made his AHL debut with the Lowell Lock Monsters during the 2005-06 season. During the 2008-09 season Mayotte, (6'0", 185 lbs), had AHL stints to both Hershey and Bridgeport, and was also called up to the Syracuse Crunch.
