Dutchmen Feel Right at Home

SCHENECTADY — Union College will be one pumped up hockey team when the 17th-ranked Dutchmen hit the Messa Rink ice tonight.

Union, after its fine third-place in ECAC Hockey and subsequent bye in the preliminary round of the league playoffs, will host 7th-place Quinnipiac in Game 1 of their best-of-three quarterfinal-round series at 7 tonight. The second and (if necessary) third games are Saturday and Sunday nights at 7.

The Dutchmen, who went 12-6-4 in league play and who spent a good deal of time in first place, bring an 18-10-6 overall record into the series.
