Milnamow Dealt to Bakersfield
BOISE, ID -- Head coach and director of hockey operations Hardy Sauter announced Tuesday that the Idaho Steelheads have traded former Union defenseman Brendan Milnamow to the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for future considerations.
Milnamow, also 24, was an ECHL All Star for Idaho last season and was named the team's Ironman of the Year after appearing in every possible game - regular season and post season - for the Steelheads. In 87 total contests last season, Milnamow had three goals and 26 assists along the blue line. With his help, Idaho gave up the fewest goals in the ECHL last season.
The Union College product had been on the injured list after suffering an injury on Opening Night with Idaho.
Idaho (ECHL) is a primary development affiliate of the Dallas Stars.
