Video: Union Gears Up for Big Weekend

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- It's a huge weekend for the Union Dutchmen, as they try to ensure they spend the opening round of the ECAC Championship at home.

Fortunately for Union, they control their own destiny in that regard and can clinch a top eight seed with victories over St. Lawrence and Clarkson at home this weekend.

Dutchmen gear up for big hockey weekend
In men's college hockey, it's a huge weekend for the Union Dutchmen, as they try to ensure they spend the opening round of the ECAC Championship at home.

With 18 points, the Dutchmen are currently tied with Clarkson for the ECAC's eight seed.

In the ECAC, the top four teams get first round byes, while seeds five through eight host three-game series with the bottom four teams in the league.
