Simpson Snaps Out of Slump in Time to Give Union Lift

John Simpson’s season got off to a great start. The Union sophomore forward had three goals in his first two games, and recorded five points in the first four contests.

But the points were difficult to come by after that, and Simpson had just three assists in his next 15 games.

However, Simpson had one of his best games of the season in last Saturday’s 6-3 ECAC Hockey victory over Colgate. Not only did he have a goal and an assist, he was moving his legs.
