Koenig Signs with Rouen HE (France)

The Dragons de Rouen (France) have finalized an agreement today with former Union standout Trevor Koenig, former goalkeeper of the Rødovre Mighty Bulls in Denmark.

A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Koenig appeared in 36 games with Rødovre in 2008-09, posting a 1.97 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage. Prior to joining the Mighty Bulls, Koenig spent three seasons in the Elite Ice Hockey League--two with Coventry and one with Newcastle.

Koenig spent four seasons with the Dutchmen (1994-98), boasting a career-best marks in 1996-97: a record of 15-11-2, 2.03 goals-against average and four shutouts. He appeared in 91 career games with Union.
