SCHENECTADY — Corey Milan is going to have some competition in goal next season.

Goalie Keith Kinkaid heads the list of eight recruits who will join the Dutchmen for the 2009-10 season, Union coach Nate Leaman announced Wednesday.

Kinkaid led the St. Louis Bandits to the North American Hockey League’s Robertson Cup title. The 19-year-old Kinkaid posted a 30-5 record during the regular season with a 1.78 goals-against average, a .935 save percentage and seven shutouts. He was named the NAHL’s Most Valuable Player, the league’s top goalie and first-team all-NAHL.
