SCHENECTADY — Last year, Union earned a bye into the ECAC
Hockey tournament quarterfinals, and was just two games away from
making its first semifinal appearance. But two losses to Cornell
spoiled that.
Now, the Dutchmen are back in the quarterfinals. This time, they
plan on a different outcome.
Fresh off their first postseason series win, the eighth-seeded
Dutchmen (18-15-3) face third-seeded, 11th-ranked and defending
tournament champion Princeton (20-9) in the best-of-three series
starting tonight at 7 at Hobey Baker Rink.
