Q & A Goalie Style: Kris Mayotte

The following article featuring former Union standout Kris Mayotte appeared February 11 on the PennLive.com Web site.

New guy Kris Mayotte took some time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions for "Stack the Pads". Kris has been with the Bears ever since Michal Neuvirth was called up to the Caps due to Brent Johnson's injury. He could potentially get his first start in net for the Bears this weekend. Good luck Kris and glad to have you!

Q- How has your brief stint with the Bears gone so far and what are your first impressions of playing in Hershey?

A- Being with the Bears has been a great experience for me so far. I am getting to know the guys and becoming more and more comfortable with the speed of the game here opposed to the ECHL. A few things really stand out here, one being the incredible fan support, it has been exciting to see the crowds at the Giant Center and even the amount of fans who were in Philly. Second is the way the organization is run, this appears to be an absolute top notch organization from top to bottom and I couldn't be happier to be a part of it for how ever long I will be here. Lastly, the togetherness and character of the guys that are here. This is by far the tightest group of guys I have seen at the AHL level and they have done a lot to make me feel comfortable here and as a part of the team.
