Wakita to Wear "C" for Dutchmen

SCHENECTADY, NY - Union College men's ice hockey senior defenseman Mike Wakita will serve as the Dutchmen's captain for the 2009-10 season, head coach Nate Leaman announced on Monday during the team's annual media day. Leaman also announced a rotating alternate captain system that will see seniors Jason Walters and Mike Schreiber and juniors Andrew Buote, Brock Matheson and Adam Presizniuk share the "A" throughout the season.
