Union junior forward Jeff Christiansen learned a valuable lesson
last season: If you don’t work hard in practice and on your
off-ice conditioning, you won’t play.
After playing in 16 games his freshman season and getting five
goals and two assists, Christiansen got into just two games last
season.
He played his first game of this season last Saturday against
Harvard, and got an assist on Luke Cain’s third-period
insurance goal in the Dutchmen’s 3-1 win. Christiansen is
hoping that he gets another opportunity this weekend, when the
Dutchmen host ECAC Hockey rivals Quinnipiac at 7 tonight and
Princeton at 4 p.m. Saturday at Messa Rink.
