Chiefs Goaltender Earns League Award

Kris Mayotte’s patience paid dividends.
The Pittsburgh native didn’t get his first start with the
Johnstown Chiefs until Saturday, during the third weekend of the
ECHL season.
The goaltender made 38 saves in regulation, stopped a penalty shot
by Tobias Holm and turned aside all five shootout attempts in the
visiting Chiefs’ 3-2 win over Wheeling on Saturday.
