Doherty Proves Lucky for his Teams

The following article featuring St. Lawrence forward Patrick Doherty appeared in the February 3 issue of the Watertown Daily Times.

CANTON — Patrick Doherty was not one of those top-name recruits when he decided to come to St. Lawrence University.
He came from the Eastern Junior Hockey League’s New Hampshire Monarchs, which won the league championship last season. In 33 games, Doherty scored only eight goals and assisted on 22 others.
Before that, he led his high school team to the New Hampshire state title. It seems every team he plays on wins.
