Peverley Proving his Worth

After Patrice Bergeron’s return from injury earlier in the Eastern Conference finals forced him to juggle lines and place Rich Peverley on the fourth trio, coach Claude Julien stated the obvious.
“Rich Peverley is not Shawn Thornton and Shawn Thornton is not Rich Peverley,” Julien declared.
Well, with no disrespect to Thornton, who has been the odd man out since Bergeron’s comeback, comparing him to Peverley is like comparing a Swiss Army knife to a steak knife. Peverley just brings a lot more to the table.
