Binghamton Releases Petizian

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have released former St. Lawrence goaltender Alex Petizian from his professional try-out contract.

Petizian, 23, signed a PTO with the B-Sens on Feb. 13, dressing as back-up goaltender for six games, but did not play.

The Kirkland, Que. native was traded from the Ontario Reign to Binghamton's ECHL affiliate, the Elmira Jackals on Feb. 11. The 5-10, 175-pound netminder appeared in one game for the Reign this season, posting a loss and a .857 save percentage.
