Drewiske's Positive Attitude Pays Off

CANTON — Jacob Drewiske came to St. Lawrence with his father's wisdom echoing in his mind. He had just finished an impressive three-year stint in the USHL and St. Lawrence presented a new challenge.
The forward stared at a roster filled with the talents of Mike McKenzie, Brock McBride, Kevin DeVergilio, Casey Parenteau and Zach Miskovic. Room for freshmen was limited and Drewiske soon discovered his playing time would be sparse.
He entered just 18 games that season, registering six assists, and dealt with the emotional setbacks of sporadic contributions.
