Peverley Eager to Showcase Skills in Boston

While getting ready for practice in preparation for a game in Phoenix, Rich Peverley was understandably floored when he learned he was no longer a Thrasher.
"Obviously (I was) a little shocked, I’ve never been traded before," said Peverley, who was sent to Boston with Boris Vilabik in exchange for Blake Wheeler and Mark Stuart on Friday.
"I’m excited to go to a team that wanted me. Obviously they’re a contender and I’m very excited."
