On yet another night of unbelievable entertainment and emotion at the Garden, maybe the most poignant moments of all came during a first-period video salute to Nathan Horton.
Then the camera went live to the injured Bruins winger, standing just off-ice. It sure looked like Horton had tears in his eyes, and if so, he was hardly alone among the 17,565 fans in the arena.
The Bruins have been able to survive the loss of their most clutch goalscorer early in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals in part because of the motivation his loss — to a severe concussion suffered on a nasty cheap shot by the detestable and bush-league Vancouver Canucks — has provided the team and its fans.
