ALBANY — The Albany Devils have won back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 4-5, thanks to some stellar goaltending from Mike McKenna, who likely will continue to be called upon.
Jeff Frazee, who has played in 24 of the Devils’ 38 games (9-11-3, 2.77, .904), suffered a lower-body injury Monday in practice and is out at least this week. “We’re still evaluating,” coach Rick Kowalsky said.
McKenna followed up his strong showing Saturday night in a 2-1 home victory over Syracuse with his first shutout of the season Tuesday night as the Devils won in Worcester, 2-0.
