Flanagan Flies with Mallards

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards of the "AA" Central Hockey League today announced they have signed center Sean Flanagan, a former St. Lawrence standout.  Per team policy, no contract terms were announced.

Flanagan, 25, scored four goals and totaled 18 points in 35 games as a senior at St. Lawrence last season. Immediately after completing his collegiate career, the Canton, New York, native saw his first professional action with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers, four whom he played four games last spring.

"Sean is the product of a strong Division I college program in St. Lawrence and is very excited to prove he can play at this level for the Mallards," said Mallards head coach and general manager David Bell.

The 5' 11", 170-pound Flanagan scored 12 times and produced 52 points in 121 career games for the Saints after playing for the Cornwall Colts of the Central (Ontario) Junior Hockey League in 2005-06.
