MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced Saturday that they have signed former St. Lawrence goaltender Alex Petizian to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Petizian, 24, signs with his third AHL team this season. The Kirkland, Que. native appeared in two games earlier this season with Portland, going 0-1-0 with a 4.88 goals against average and a .891 save percentage. Petizian also signed a PTO with the Binghamton Senators earlier in the year and served as a backup for six games. Petizian made his professional debut last season with the Rochester Americans last season after graduating from St. Lawrence University of the ECAC.
