Trevelyan to Skate in Germany
The Augsburger Panther (Germany) announced Tuesday the signing of former St. Lawrence standout T.J. Trevelyan.
A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Trevelyan spent the previous two seasons with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL). In 136 regular-season games with Worcester, Trevelyan racked up 47 goals and 37 assists for 84 points.
In 2009-10, Trevelyan led Worcester in goals (28), matching his
career high despite missing 17 games due to injury. He notched 44
points (28 goals, 16 assists) in 63 games. In the AHL Playoffs, he
tied for the team lead with four goals, despite missing three
games, and finished with six points (four goals, two assists) in
eight games.
Trevelyan played in 344 AHL games with Providence, Iowa and
Worcester, posting 222 points (116 goals, 106 assists). He added 12
goals and 11 assists in 31 career playoff games.
Trevelyan played four collegiate seasons at St. Lawrence, where he
was one of 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award in 2005-06. That
same season, he led the ECAC in scoring and was named First Team
All-American and ECAC Player of the Year. Trevelyan totaled 154
points, including 78 goals, in 150 contests with the Saints.
