Capitals Retain Services of Miskovic
ARLINGTON, VA. – The Washington Capitals have signed former St. Lawrence standout Zach Miskovic to a one-year contract, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Miskovic, who originally signed with Washington as a free
agent in March 2009, recorded 20 assists and 26 points in his first
professional season with Hershey. The 25-year-old Miskovic notched
a goal and an assist in six playoff games for the Bears en route to
the Calder Cup. Miskovic played four seasons at St. Lawrence
University where he ended his collegiate career with 27 goals and
73 points. He had 16 goals his senior season leading all NCAA
defensemen.
