Peverley Cashing in on Chances

Rich Peverley has been getting chances. And now the Thrashers center is making the most of them.
Peverley is fourth on the team in scoring with 18 points. He has six points (four goals, two assists) in the past seven games.
“It’s about getting chances and when you are getting chances eventually it’s going to come around,” Peverley said before Friday’s game against Colorado. “I felt before I was scoring, I was getting a ton of chances. That’s when you start to worry when you don’t get the chances.
