Texas Returns DeVergilio to Idaho
CEDAR PARK, TX - The Texas Stars announced on Sunday that center Kevin DeVergilio, a former St. Lawrence standout, has been assigned to the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.
DeVergilio scored 18 goals and added 20 assists for 38 points in
48 games with the Steelheads this season. In all, he played in 13
games for Texas this year, recording one assist, 12 penalty minutes
and a -2 rating. The 23-year old forward is in his rookie season
after a four-year career at St. Lawrence University from 2005 to
2009. DeVergilio recorded 113 points in 143 NCAA games for the
Saints.
