1. The Mavericks literally went through a revolving door period
where it seemed as if one player left and two new players arrived
in the locker room. How did the team maintain unity and survive
that process?
It was difficult, to be honest with you. But we all knew what
Scott (Hillman, coach) and Brent (Thiessen, president and general
manager) were doing. Scott wants positive players who buy into team
unity, and it took a while to find his type of players. Changes
happen in professional sports all the time – it just seems
like a lot more were happening here. But now, we have a band of
brothers who are all on the same page and who think about only on
thing – getting to the playoffs.
