Zach Miskovic couldn’t do a traditional summer training program this year.
The defenseman was forced into the Joe Finley Rehab Workout plan. That was because of a left knee injury Miskovic suffered on a hit by 6-8, 262-pound teammate Finley during Washington Capitals development camp in July.
But Miskovic, who didn’t require surgery, certainly found a way to get ready for the 2010-11 season with the Hershey Bears. Last week’s start to Hershey’s training camp was his first chance to play hockey in earnest since the injury, and the second-year pro has quickly gotten up to speed.
