Tisi Bound for Reading
READING, PA - The Reading Royals of the
ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the
National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American
Hockey League, today announced that the team has signed St.
Lawrence goaltender Kain Tisi to an Amateur Tryout Agreement.
Tisi (5'11/180) (25), who hails from Mississauga, Ontario,
recently completed his senior season at St. Lawrence University
where he went 10-10-3 with a 2.44 goals against average and .914
save percentage. Over the course of the season, Tisi earned the
Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Goaltender of the Week Award
three times including twice consecutively in late January of
2010.
