CANTON — It's been difficult for the St. Lawrence University
men's hockey team to decompress after a disappointing finish to the
2008-09 season.
Saints head coach Joe Marsh said several players filtered into
Appleton Arena this past week either to get in a workout or visit
with teammates. Stopping by their hockey sanctuary has helped ease
the pain after falling a win short of making the NCAA
tournament.
"When you have a really good team and don't win your last game, it
seems to hurt more," Marsh said. "Things were going well, guys were
working hard and wanted to keep playing."
