Peverley Making Most of Opportunity with Thrashers

Talk about the power of positive reinforcement.
To the Nashville Predators, Rich Peverley was expendable, worth
the risk of putting through waivers. For the Thrashers, he was
worth not only claiming off the waiver wire but skating with their
prize possession: Ilya Kovalchuk.
The result? After scoring two goals in 27 games with the Predators
this season, Peverley has scored two goals in six games as a
Thrashers — both game-winners.
