Saints Peak at the Right Time

ALBANY -- St. Lawrence is the only team in the ECAC Hockey
semifinals not currently ranked in the Top Ten nationally.
Don’t feel sorry for them. The Saints are the hottest team
in the field and that could give them an edge.
“Oh, yeah,” said junior right winger Mike McKenzie.
“Any time you can come in with an unbeaten streak (the Saints
are 7-0-1 in their past eight game), you’re playing confident
and all 20 guys are going, our goalie’s been hot. I’m
not sure how much of an edge it is but whenever you go into a
single-elimination tournament on a streak, that’s a
positive.”
