Trull Headed to Phoenix
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud
affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks,
announced today the acquisition of former St. Lawrence forward
Chase Trull from the Mississippi Sea Wolves in exchange for future
considerations.
Trull, 24, returns to the RoadRunners for a second stint after
collecting three goals and 11 points in 33 games this season with
the Sea Wolves. The Rockwood, Ontario native and third-year
professional signed as a free agent with the RoadRunners on March
22, 2006 upon completion of his collegiate career at St. Lawrence
University. Trull appeared in seven games with the RoadRunners and
tallied his first professional goal in the final game of the
club’s inaugural season on April 8, 2006 at Las Vegas.
Trull has skated in nine games this season in the American Hockey
League with the Philadelphia Phantoms and Portland Pirates and has
one goal, one assist, and five penalty minutes to his credit. He
has registered totals of 13 goals, 29 assists, 42 points, and 277
penalty minutes in 192 career games.
Trull is expected to be in the RoadRunners’ line-up Saturday
at Alaska.
