The St. Lawrence University men's hockey team left any feelings of panic in the visiting locker room Saturday at Clarkson.

The loss of Saints senior forward Casey Parenteau to a broken right fibula resonated with the team in its disappointing one-point weekend against the Golden Knights. Now, the thought of playing without gritty forward Alex Curran for an extended period time is even tougher to fathom.

Curran was diagnosed with a bruised lung following Saturday's game. The junior was checked hard into the boards in the second period and did not return. The team received uplifting news earlier this week as doctors would allow Curran to skate in practice Wednesday. His status for this weekend's series at Quinnipiac and Princeton is still questionable.
