Timeout with the Times: Joe Spadaccini

WDT: As a freshman, you've been able to work with the other three goalies. What have you picked up from them?

Spadaccini: More position stuff. I'm pretty athletic, but it's such a fast game out there. You just have to set up and let it hit you. A lot of them work with guys in the summer. There is no one to work with around here, so I try to pick up as much as I can from them now.

WDT: What's it been like being a walk-on player?

Spadaccini: It's a great opportunity. I just try to work as hard as I can. I'm not up to the speed of the game quite yet, but I think I'm getting there. There are great shots every day in practice.
