Saints to Conduct Teddy Bear Toss

Fans from both sides of one of college hockey’s greatest rivalries can collaborate to help brighten the day of a youngster in the hospital.

Saints defenseman Zach Miskovic has organized a Teddy Bear Toss for the first period intermission of Friday’s hockey game between St. Lawrence and Clarkson at Appleton Arena in Canton. Fans are asked to bring a new teddy bear or other stuffed animal and toss it on the ice during a designated time period at the end of the first period.

The bears and other critters will be given to youngsters at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital and the St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House. There will be a limited supply of teddy bears to be purchased at the arena in addition to those brought to the game by fans.
