Marlies Loan Taylor to Texas

TORONTO -- Mike Penny, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that former St. Lawrence forward Max Taylor has been returned on loan to the Texas Wildcatters of the ECHL.

Taylor, a 5'10, 185-pound rookie centre has appeared in 13 games with the Marlies this season, scoring his first AHL goal in his AHL debut on March 7 in Syracuse. The 24 year-old has recorded five points (two goals, three assists) to go along with 28 penalty minutes in the 13 games he has played with the Marlies this season. 

Taylor has skated in 57 games with the Texas Wildcatters this season, recording 45 points (25 goals, 20 assists) and 49 penalty minutes. The Ottawa native has registered two hat-tricks and 10 multi-point games with Texas this year.   

The Marlies host the Grand Rapids Griffins - AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings - on Wednesday, April 2 for a 7:30 p.m. contest at Ricoh Coliseum.
