Rank Assigned to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA --  The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have assigned former St. Lawrence forward Kyle Rank to Wheeling of the East Coast Hockey League.

Rank, 25, has appeared in 25 games with the Penguins this season, recording one assist  In two stints with the Nailers this season, the Elmira, Ontario native has recorded 18 points (9+9) and 17 penalty minutes.

The graduate of St. Lawrence University was signed by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton as a free agent on June 11, 2007.
