Predators Extend Qualifying Offer to Peverley
NASHVILLE -- The Predators extended qualifying offers to five of
their restricted free agents, including former St. Lawrence
standout Rich Peverley. The qualifying offers ensure that any other
NHL team would have to extend those players an offer sheet and give
the Preds the right to match.
Peverley split the season between the NHL and AHL, skating a
regular shift for the Preds down the back stretch of the season and
through the playoffs. In 33 regular-season games with Nashville,
Peverley amassed five goals, including two game-winning tallies,
and five assists. He finished with a plus-4 rating.
