Johnstown Trades for Taylor
Johnstown, Pa. -- The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that they have acquired the rights to former St. Lawrence forward Max Taylor from the Ontario Reign.
Taylor, 24, appeared in 59 games for Texas last season, notching 25 goals, 20 assists and 51 penalty minutes. He also skated in 13 games for the AHL's Toronto Marlies last year, picking up 2 goals, 3 assists and 28 penalty minutes.
A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Taylor spent four seasons at St. Lawrence University (ECAC) before turning pro, appearing in 145 games, collecting 29 goals, 50 assists and 84 penalty minutes.
