Was that an ear-to-ear grin that creased the playoff beard of the last player off the ice Wednesday night?
"You better believe it," said Mike McKenna. "Anytime you help your team win a game in the playoffs, you've gotta feel good."
He wears a goalie's mask to protect his face. When it came off, he didn't try to hide his feelings. Not with the crowd at the Cumberland County Civic Center cheering his exit. He slapped his goalie's stick on the ice, applauding them.
