Odessa Inks Symington

ODESSA, TX -- With Alexandre Vincent out for the next couple games, the Odessa Jackalopes have signed former St. Lawrence goaltender Jeremy Symington to fill the void.

Symington has previously spent time in the CHL playing for Youngstown and Rio Grande Valley in 2006-2007, the Laredo Bucks in 2004-2005, and the Lubbock Cotton Kings in 2003-2004. The Camlachie, Ontario native was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 8th round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

Symington graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2001 after playing four years of collegiate hockey. Last season Symington appeared in 30 games for the Kalamazoo Wings of the IHL, recording a 3.15 GAA and a .899 SV%.
